The PreFabControl Advisor helps you quickly identify which workflows and features are most relevant to your manufacturing operation. Answer a few questions about what you build, where you deliver, and how your team operates — it takes about two minutes.

What do you manufacture?
Choose one product line. You can run through the questions again for another.
Modular homes ⓘFully-finished factory-built sections transported and assembled on a permanent foundation. Built to the provincial or territorial building code at the installation site. Distinct from manufactured (mobile) homes by the foundation and the applicable standard.
Manufactured or mobile homes ⓘFactory-built homes designed for transport to site, typically built to the CSA Z240 MH series in Canada. Distinct from modular homes by construction standard, the role of a permanent chassis, and provincial/territorial regulation. "Mobile home" often refers to older units in this category.
Multi-unit residential modules ⓘFactory-built modules assembled to form apartment buildings, townhouses, or condominiums. Each module typically forms one or more rooms or units of the completed building.
Commercial or institutional modules ⓘFactory-built modules for non-residential buildings — offices, schools, clinics, government facilities, hospitality. Requirements vary by occupancy type.
Industrial building modules ⓘFactory-built enclosures for industrial uses — workshops, equipment rooms, process buildings. Does not include the industrial equipment or process systems inside the building.
Panelised construction ⓘPre-built wall, floor, or roof panels manufactured in a factory and assembled on site. Open panels: structure visible after assembly. Closed panels: insulation, sheathing, or finishes installed in the factory and concealed at installation.
Other prefab products ⓘAny prefabricated construction product not covered above — structural components, precast concrete, volumetric pods, or specialized assemblies.
Not sure ⓘSelect this if you are unsure which category best describes your product. The advisor will still provide useful guidance.

Does your product include a steel building system?
A steel building system is more than a building that happens to contain steel parts.
Yes, a steel building system ⓘA complete pre-engineered structural assembly where the primary framing — columns, beams, roof and wall systems — form a single coordinated design. Not every building with steel components qualifies.
Steel parts or framing, but not a steel building system ⓘA building using steel components — studs, columns, beams — that is not a pre-engineered steel building system.
No ⓘThe building's primary structure is not steel — typically wood, concrete, or other materials.
Not sure ⓘSelect this if you are unsure whether your product qualifies as a steel building system. The result will include a note to clarify.
